Notes
  • TxVIA makes lobsters assume dominant posture; contraction in snails; no symptom in mice. It was also recently reported to have insecticidal activity, including for the cabbage moth and house fly (Bruce et al. 2011). It has no effect on grey field slug Deroceras reticulatum (Bruce et al. 2011).
  • The methionine was found to be oxidated by Dobson 2012.
  • TxVIA has no effect on mammalian Nav1.2 and Nav1.7 even at high concentrations (10 µM)(Wang et al., 2021).
  • TxVIA activates Cav3.1 (Wang et al., 2021).
