Mo3964 (P07063) Protein Card

General Information
Name Mo3964
Organism Conus monile
Organism region Indo-Pacific
Organism diet vermivorous
Protein Type Wild type
Notes This peptide defines a new Cys framework. Mo3964 reduced the outward currents that are due to the opening of voltage gated K+ channels in DRG neurons (Kancherla 2015). Leftward shift in the presence of Mo3964 was observed in averaged normalized conductance-voltage plot of outward Na+ currents (Kancherla 2015).
